Incident #24-03750-Stabbing

   On 05/12/2024 at approximately 0222 hours, Williamsport Police units responded to the UPMC Susquehanna Emergency Room for a report of a stabbing victim. Upon arrival officers learned that the 21 year old male  victim had been riding within a vehicle with three other occupants. While traveling, the occupants of the vehicle were engaged in an altercation. During the altercation the victim had been stabbed within the vehicle in the area of W. Fourth Street and Walnut Street. 

The victim was transported to the Emergency Room, treated and later released from the hospital. This is an ongoing investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact investigating officer Agt. Salisbury at 570-327-7593 or at csalisbury@cityofwilliamsport.org.
