As part of our ongoing community outreach efforts, Agent Jason Bolt and Outreach Specialist Demar Wright from the Williamsport Bureau of Police spent a few hours at Schick Elementary School interacting with students. The event was a huge success, with the kids enjoying goodies, playing with the Police Drone camera, and getting filled up on sugary snacks before being sent back to their teachers.
The Williamsport Police recognize the importance of building positive relationships with students and young children. By engaging with them in a fun and interactive way, we can help foster trust and understanding between law enforcement and the community.
The event was a win-win for everyone involved. The kids had a blast, and our officers were equally enriched by the experience. We are committed to continuing these types of outreach efforts to build stronger, more positive relationships with the community we serve.
