[UPDATE-ARREST] WBP In# 21-06382 – Stabbing Investigation – 1100 Block Memorial Ave 

  On July 5^th 2021 at 8:32 pm Williamsport Bureau of Police Units were emergency dispatched to the area of the 1100 block of Memorial Ave for an alleged stabbing. Upon responding to the area several officers were redirected to the UPMC Susquehanna Health Emergency Room after learning the victim was transported there by a passing motorist. Officers made contact with the juvenile female victim, following which they learned she was involved in an altercation with another juvenile during which she received lacerations to the arm, wrist, and an apparent stab wound to her upper chest area. Williamsport Bureau of Police secured the area of Memorial Ave and Grier St before eventually releasing the scene.

  [UPDATE] On July 13th 2021 PO Andrew Stevens served an arrest warrant on YELENA OLSON, F/17, for Aggravated Assault, Possession of Instruments of Crime, and related offenses in this incident. Due to the severity of the offenses OLSON was charged as an adult and arraigned before MDJ William Solomon on these charges. OLSON was committed to Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $50,000.00.
