On May 8, 2026, officers from the Williamsport Bureau of Police were dispatched to Lose Park for a reported fight involving a group of juveniles.

Upon arrival and subsequent investigation, multiple videos of the incident were obtained. The footage showed a group of four juveniles instigating a physical altercation with a smaller group at the park. During the fight, one of the instigating juveniles produced a knife and attempted to stab another juvenile twice in the back. The attempts were unsuccessful, and no stabbing injuries were reported.

The juvenile suspect was later identified and taken into custody without incident. Custody was subsequently transferred to Juvenile Probation, who placed the juvenile in a detention facility pending further proceedings.
