Incident # 21-09581 - Narcotics/Weapon Laws Investigation - 2324 W 4th St.  On Tuesday, September 28th, 2021 at approximately 6:27 pm, the Lycoming County Narcotics Enforcement Unit [NEU] conducted a search warrant on the above address for an investigation involving several narcotics and firearm violations. Officers from the Williamsport Bureau of Police K9 Unit and members of the Lycoming County Special Response Team assisted in the execution of this search warrant. During the search of the residence, officers located a large amount of cocaine, packaging material, a large amount of cash, and a firearm. As a result of the combined efforts of the NEU and the Williamsport Bureau of Police, both William Edward Thomas Jr, M/37, and Ocufi Lawrence, M/42, were taken into custody. Thomas and Lawrence were both charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and Persons not to Possess a Firearm, and both were committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $250,000 bail.
