Eighteen-year-old Kamaj Smith was arrested on August 05, 2026, stemming from his role in the June 29, 2026 disturbance on Memorial Ave, where 17-year-old Nazir Kramer was killed. Smith turned himself in to police after a warrant was issued for his arrest.  Smith was charged with receiving stolen property (firearm), felony riot, carrying a firearm without a license, and drug charges. Smith was arraigned on these charges and committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $250,000 straight bail.
