On October 19, 2026, at 3:05 PM, Lycoming Regional Police responded to a reported domestic disturbance at 519 South Main in Jersey Shore Borough. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the involved parties and conducted an investigation.

It was determined that a 26-year-old male, Dylan Wampler, became aggressive and struck the victim in the left side of her face with a closed fist. The assault continued as Wampler grabbed the victim by the neck and pushed her to the ground, stomping on the right side of her face.

Wampler was taken into custody and processed. He was arraigned before the on-call Magisterial Judge and committed to the Lycoming County Prison with bail set at $50,000.00.

All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
