On February 15, 2024 Lycoming Regional Police Detectives arrested SHANNON MARSHALL BOWES on an arrest warrant for terroristic threats and harassment.  Police initiated an investigation into BOWES after receiving a recording of BOWES threatening to kill his brother and his brother's family.  BOWES made several threats against the victims including " -- was stupid enough to put her name on my dirt, she's going to be laying dead on my dirt", "I'm going to shoot them all", "Trust me the buildings will be burned", I'll be the happiest mother fucker soon as they die, because then the mother fucker can't have me arrested".  

Additionally, detectives learned through the investigation that BOWES, who recently was the subject of a protection from abuse order against the victim(s), was recently attempting to acquire a firearm illegally.  

BOWES was taken into custody in Old Lycoming Township.  He was subsequently arraigned and placed into Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $85,000.00 bail.
