The New Providence Baptist Church held their annual backpack giveaway after their service on Sunday, August 19th.  

The congregation gave away dozens of backpacks full of school supplies, along with hotdogs, popcorn and more, to any child that attended the event.

Mayor Anthony Cavallaro and the Quarryville Police Department (QPD) were honored to have been invited to attend the event on behalf of the Borough.  Mayor Cavallaro and the QPD had a wonderful time meeting with all of the families and getting to know some of our Solanco students!
