On 15 February 2024, the Quarryville Police were notified of a retail theft that occurred days prior at Goods Store, 333 West Fourth Street in Quarryville Borough. Upon Officers investigating, it was found that the actor had been recorded on video surveillance. The video depicted the actor, Matthew Johnson, of Leola, conceal a package of wet wipes on his person and proceed to exit the store and begin wiping his car down with them before leaving. Johnson was charged by the Quarryville Police with Retail Theft via citation which was filed at District Court 02-3-04.
