The Pequea Township Police Department is currently investigating a reported vehicle break-in incident that took place between Thursday, January 22, 2026, and Friday, January 23, 2026, in the 200 block of Treeline Court. The perpetrators smashed a window to gain access to a pickup truck parked in the area. Fortunately, no valuable items were stolen. This incident serves as a reminder that the cold doesn't stop criminals.  Always lock your vehicles, hide valuables and avoid leaving key fobs inside your unattended vehicle. Additionally, we urge residents to promptly report any suspicious activity to dispatch at 717-664-1180.
