ARRESTS  

 Dangerous Dog, Sunday, March 29, 2026, at 8:37 a.m., Veronica A. Tobin, 66, of Mount Joy, PA has been charged under Pennsylvania’s Dangerous Dog Law after her dog got loose from a fixed leash and attacked the victim’s dog on a public sidewalk.  She failed to pay the full restitution owed to the victim. 

Disorderly Conduct, Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 9:40 a.m., Thomas M. Hale, 62, of Mount Joy, PA, was charged with Disorderly Conduct after he was found passed out on a neighbor's porch wearing only underwear and a hat.

Animals Running at Large, Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., Brian J. Bivens, age 44, of Mount Joy, PA was cited for violating a Borough Ordinance after his dog was located not within the owner’s property.  This is the third incident.   

Dangerous Dog and Confinement of Dogs, Saturday, July 26, 2026, at 11:06 a.m., Derek B. Wilt, 41, of Mount Joy, PA was charged under Pennsylvania’s Dog Law, Dangerous Dog and Confinement of Dogs when he failed to keep his Pit Bull on his property.  The dog attacked a neighbor’s cat causing an estimated $5,500.00 in veterinary care.
