Adam M. Wiernicki, 24, of Lititz, PA, is charged with two counts of Driving Under the Influence and two traffic violations after a traffic stop on East Main Street in Mount Joy Borough.  The defendant was observed driving at a rate of approximately fifty miles per hour in a twenty-five mile per hour zone.  The area was densely populated with pedestrians and parked vehicles causing a risk to the public.  He had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath, slurred speech and slowed physical responses.  Officers observed multiple open alcohol containers in his vehicle.
