The Ephrata Police Department announces the establishment of a MeetUp Spot, a designated area in the parking lot of the police department for buyers and sellers from online and mobile marketplaces to meet in person to complete transactions.

The Ephrata Police Department has partnered with OfferUp, a mobile marketplace for local buyers and sellers, to sponsor the MeetUp Spot to improve the security of in-person transactions.  The goal of the MeetUp Spot program is to establish a community location that is public, surveilled, well-lit and monitored by the police department.

Members of the public who wish to use our MeetUp Spot can do so at 124 South State Street, Ephrata PA 17522.  You will see the MeetUp Spot sign posted in our parking lot on the north side of Borough Hall.
