The Ephrata Police Department responded to a two vehicle crash on SR 222 north on Friday, 06/25/21 at approximately 4:24 p.m.  Kevin Hall , 23 of Texas was driving a pickup truck pulling a large trailer loaded with construction equipment.  As Hall negotiated uneven patches of road due to road construction part of his load shifted.  As a result, equipment from the trailer became unsecured and fell from the trailer.  One of the pieces of equipment fell onto the highway and struck a Subaru wagon driven by Lauryn Bushy, 29 of Leesport, PA.  The vehicle driven by Bushy became disabled and was towed from the scene.  Bushy was treated for minor injuries at the scene by Ephrata Ambulance Association but was not transported, Hall was uninjured..  Pioneer Fire Co and fire police also assisted at the scene.
