A vehicle operated by Lavon Brubaker Hoover, 20, of Womelsdorf PA, was traveling eastbound on Frys Rd. As it passed the intersection of Slate Rd. the driver lost control of the vehicle and it left the right side of the roadway, striking a utility pole and rolling several times. The driver was uninjured, however; a passenger in the vehicle was injured and was transported to Lancaster General Hospital where he was reported to be in critical but stable condition. Assisting at the scene were crews from New Holland Ambulance, Five Pointville Ambulance and Martindale Volunteer FD.
