Ephrata Police received a report of a Bank Robbery at the Ephrata National Bank in the first block of East Main Street, Ephrata Borough on 7-16-15 at approximately 1425hrs.  

The downtown ENB drive through bank, which also has a walk in counter, was robbed at gun point this afternoon by what appeared to be a white male in his 20's.   The male entered the interior walk up service counter, displayed a small black handgun and demanded money from the teller.   The suspect was wearing a black and white in color plaid button down long sleeve shirt, a red in color baseball style had and dark colored bandana partially covering his face.   He displayed the handgun demanded money and fled the bank with an undetermined amount of cash.    He fled the immediate area on foot.

Ephrata Police also located at the scene a broken piece of wood, approximately 18 inches long by 2 inches wide, which appears to be from a fence or some type outdoor wooden furniture or structure.
