The Ephrata Police Department recently filed charges on Shelden Gentry, 27, of Womelsdorf, for Theft By Unlawful taking(M3). On October 6, 2026, at 3:28 p.m., Ephrata Police responded to the 1700 Block of Texter Mountain Road, West Cocalico Township to take a theft report. The victim provided video footage of a male suspect stealing the cash box from their roadside honey stand. Officers were able to identify the male in the video footage as Shelden Gentry. A criminal complaint was filed on Gentry through MDJ Bearinger's office on 10/21/2026.

Gentry is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
