On 04-08-15 at approximately 1900hrs Ephrata police arrested Vincent L. Burns 50/M Last known address of Water Street, Washington Boro, Pa. for a  retail theft (shopping lifting) for taking a large slab of Angus Beef valued at $63.00 from Redner’s Warehouse Market on N. Reading Road, Ephrata. Management reported they observed Burns conceal the slab of meat down the front of his pants and leave the store. Police located Burns in the parking lot attempting to flee the area. Burns was charged with a Misdemeanor Retail Theft, taken to Lancaster Central Arraignment where he was arraigned and failed to post $10,000 cash bail; he was committed to Lancaster County Prison.
