The Ephrata Police Department recently arrested Ximena Borrero, 43, of Coatesville, for Retail Theft. On Monday, September 21, 2026, at 3:19 p.m., Ephrata Police Officers responded to Walmart, 890 E. Main Street, Ephrata Township for a shoplifter in custody. Walmart loss prevention staff observed Borrero fail to scan a vacuum and hot sauce valued at $111.87 while checking out at the self-checkout register. Borrero was arrested, processed and issued a summary citation for retail theft. 

Borrero is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
