Last night at the BOS meeting, Tyler Clisham was officially promoted to Detective! Detective Clisham was hired by EHTPD in February, 2018. Since that time, he has proven himself to be intelligent, hard- working, dependable and thorough in all of his duties as a police officer. Detective Clisham was one of four officers who applied for the position, all of whom were strong candidates. After a formal process, which included a temporary assignment of each candidate to our Criminal Investigation Unit, Detective Clisham was selected to permanently fill the position. Detective Clisham is a Lancaster County native, having graduated from Garden Spot High School. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Shippensburg University, where he also competed on the swim team. Additionally, he earned a Master’s degree from Penn State University. We are excited to have him in his new position as Detective, and know that he will do a fantastic job conducting criminal investigations and delivering justice to victims of crime.
