CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 8-13-19 police responded to RT 30 eastbound in the area of Running Pump Rd for a vandalism complaint. A witness reported seeing multiple males gathered around an abandoned vehicle along the side of the road, striking it with a bat. Damage to the vehicle was extensive, damage amount unknown at this time.
PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS: On 8-17-19 police responded to the Pantry Restaurant, 2715 Marietta Ave, for a suspicious activity complaint. A male was reported to be laying on the ground. Police located the male and following investigation cited Nathan Winn (38) of Lancaster with Public Drunkenness (S).
THEFT: On 8-18-19 police responded to the first block of Rohrerstown Rd for a theft complaint. It was reported that several landscaping rocks were missing from the back yard. Total estimated value of loss $100.00.
RETAIL THEFT: On 8-19-19 Melissa Erb (48) of Thomasville was charged with Retail Theft (S), stemming from an incident at That Fish Place, 237 Centerville Rd, on 8-4-19. Erb was captured on video surveillance placing a nail clipper into her purse. Total estimated value of loss $9.32.
ENDANGERING WELFARE OF CHILDREN: On 8-20-19 Nauvoo Flory (49) of Lancaster was charged with 2 counts of Endangering Welfare of Children (F3) and multiple summary traffic offenses, stemming from a crash 8-15-19 on RT 30 westbound in the area of Centerville Rd. A warrant was issued for her arrest.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 8-20-19 police were contacted by the East Hempfield Public Works Department concerning vandalism at Amos Herr Park, 1700 Nissley Rd. Sometime between 1600 hours on 8-19-19 and 0730 hours on 8-20-19, actor(s) damaged 3 electrical outlets at the pavilion in the park. Total estimated amount of damage $100.00.
RETAIL THEFT: On 8-22-19 police responded to B&B Yamaha Sales & Service, 343 Champ Blvd, for a retail theft in progress. Michael Gant (27) of Lancaster was observed by employees placing clothing items into a backpack and leaving without making payment. Gant was taken into custody, charged with Retail Theft (F3), False Identification to Law Enforcement (M3) and Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Gant was transported to Lancaster County Prison. Total estimated value of loss $319.80.
SIMPLE ASSAULT: On 8-23-19 at 0125 hours police responded to the first block of Duo Dr for a domestic disturbance. Following investigation, Kenny Beltran-Caban (51) of Lancaster was taken into custody and charged with Simple Assault (M2). Beltran-Caban was transported to Lancaster County Prison.
UNERAGE DRINKING: On 8-24-19 at 0023 hours police responded to the 1300 block of Nissley Rd for a suspicious person. Following investigation, a 15-year old male of Lancaster was cited with Underage Drinking (S).
