POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 9/23/20 THRU 10/5/20

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On 9-23-20 Todd Pensyl (49) of Altoona, PA was cited with Disorderly Conduct (S), stemming from a disturbance at the Wine & Spirits Store, 558 Centerville Rd, on 9/17/20.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 9-23-20 Megan Laukhuff (42) of Columbia was charged with Possession of Marijuana (M), Use/Possess Drug Paraphernalia (M) and a summary traffic violation, stemming from a traffic stop 9-19-20 on Columbia Ave in the area of Urban Dr.

THEFT: On 9-24-20 police responded to the 200 block of Bethel Dr for a theft report.  Sometime, between 7-1-20 and 9-24-20, actor(s) removed a Louis Vuitton purse and a Taurus 9mm handgun from a residence.  Total estimated value of loss $1,809.99.

ACCIDENT INVOLVING DAMAGE ATTENDED VEHICLE: On 9-25-20 Bryce Doerrer (31) of Columbia was charged with Accident Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle and 2 summary traffic violations, stemming from a two-vehicle crash on Route 30 westbound between Running Pump Rd and Centerville Rd on 9-24-20.  Upon his vehicle coming to a rest, Doerrer left the scene, running into a wooded area.

SIMPLE ASSAULT: On 9-26-20 at 0028 hrs police responded to the 100 block of Sunflower Cir for a domestic disturbance.  Following investigation, Dylan Bleacher (24) of Landisville was charged with Simple Assault (M2) and Harassment (S).  He was taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 9-26-20 police responded to the 1100 block of Persimmon Dr for a theft from vehicle report.  Sometime between 9-25-20 at 1500 hrs and 9-26-20 at 1145 hrs, actor(s) removed a Ruger 45 caliber firearm from a vehicle.  Total estimated value of loss $1,300.00.

HARASSMENT: On 9-28-20 police responded to the 2100 block of Embassy Dr, for a physical altercation that just occurred.  Following investigation, Melissa Arenas (35) of Lancaster was cited with Harassment (S).

RETAIL THEFT: On 9-28-20 at 2044 hrs police responded to That Fish Place, 237 Centerville Rd, for a theft report.  Earlier this date a female was captured on video surveillance removing a Silkback Bearded Dragon from a tank, concealing it in a shopping bag and leaving the store without making payment.  Total estimated value of loss $359.99.  Following investigation, on 10-5-20 Laura Tarr (24) of York was charged with Retail Theft (M1) and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

SIMPLE ASSAULT: On 9-30-20 a 17-year old male of Landisville was charged with Simple Assault (M2) and Harassment (S), stemming from a disturbance at Turkey Hill, 298 E Main St, on 9-11-20.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 9-30-20 Jalen Germany (27) of Marietta was charged with Possession of Marijuana (M) and a summary traffic violation, stemming from a one vehicle crash on 8-25-20 on Columbia Ave in the area of Donnerville Rd.

RETAIL THEFT: On 9-30-20 at 0505 hrs police responded to Royal Farms, 260 Rohrerstown Rd, for a retail theft that just occurred.   A male was observed on video surveillance removing two Bud Light Platinum wild berry seltzers from the cooler and concealing them under his clothing.  As a result of the investigation, Tyler Sharp (25) of Lancaster was located in the first block of Rohrerstown Rd, taken into custody and charged with Retail Theft (S).  Total estimated value of loss $6.00.  While waiting in the East Hempfield Township Police Department lobby for a family member to pick him up, Sharp attempted to break into the Safe Medication Disposal box.  Sharp was charged with Criminal Attempt-Theft (M3).   

IDENTITY THEFT: On 9-30-20 Justin David Robinson (21) of Lancaster was charged with 4 counts of Identity Theft (M1), 2 counts of Access Device Fraud (M1), 2 counts of Access Device Fraud (M2) and Theft of Lost Property (M2), stemming from an incident 8-24-20 at Lowes, 25 Rohrerstown Rd. 

TERRORISTIC THREATS: On 10-1-20 Colin Charley (35) of Lancaster was charged with 3 counts of Terroristic Threats (M1), Simple Assault (M2) and False Imprisonment (M2), stemming from a domestic violence incident reported to police 9-30-20 that occurred in the 300 block of Parklawn Ct on 8-1-20.  A warrant was issued for Charley’s arrest, he was located on 10-1-20 in the 100 block of Norlawn Ct, taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

VEHICLE THEFT: On 10-1-20 police responded to Women’s and Babies Hospital, 690 Good Dr, for a stolen vehicle report.  Sometime between 1645-1900 hrs on this same date, actor(s) removed a 2019 black Mazda CX5 from the parking lot.  Within the vehicle was a purse containing a Walther.22 caliber semi-automatic pistol, Kenwood Subwoofer/Amp and cash.  The vehicle was located and recovered at 2115 hrs, this same date, by Lancaster County Park Rangers in Buchmiller Park.  The vehicle contents were not located with the vehicle.  Total estimated value of loss $1,500.00.

WARRANT SERVICE: On 10-1-20 police responded to the 100 block of Rohrerstown Rd for a suspicious vehicle.  Following investigation, John Miller (40) of Lancaster was found to have several warrants through the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.  Miller was taken into custody and transported to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.

THEFT: On 10-1-20 police received a theft report in the 900 block of Rohrerstown Rd.  On 9-8-20 two packages were delivered to a residence and one was taken before the homeowner returned home.  Total estimated value of loss $600.00.

RETAIL THEFT: On 10-5-20 police responded to Sheetz Mini Market, 3101 Columbia Ave, for a theft that just occurred.  Video surveillance captured a male, in his 30’s or 40’s, medium to heavy build, leave the store with a F’Real milkshake and 2 Slim Jim’s without making payment.  Total estimated value of loss $8.57.

WARRANT SERVICE: On 10-5-20 police received an anonymous tip that Ashley Nunnally (36) of Lancaster had a bench warrant through the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.  Nunnally was located in the 3400 block of Columbia Ave, taken into custody and transported to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.

THEFT: On 10-5-20 police responded to Heritage Hotel, 500 Centerville Rd, for a theft report.  Sometime between 10-4-20 at 1900 hrs and 10-5-20 at 1100 hrs, actor(s) removed a New York registration plate from the back of a vehicle parked in the parking lot.  Unknown value of loss at this time.

THEFT: On 10-5-20 police responded to the 2900 block of Hearthside Ln for a theft report.  Sometime between 10-4-20 at 2130 hrs and 10-5-20 at 0730 hrs, actor(s) removed a political sign from a yard.  Total estimated value of loss $40.00.
