POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 6/29/20 THRU 7/5/20

THEFT: On 7-2-20 Ales Boles (21) of Columbia was charged with 2 counts of Theft by Failure to Make Required Disposition of Funds (F3), stemming from numerous incidents in February 2020.  Boles was employed by Turkey Hill, 1503 Columbia Ave, at the time and responsible to take cash deposits to BB&T Bank.  Boles never made the deposits.  Total estimated value of loss $10,341.04.

THEFT: On 6-29-20 police received a reported theft from Days Inn, 2929 Hempland Rd.  Sometime between 5-28-20 and 6-29-20 an individual retrieved stored possessions by posing as the owner.  Total estimated value of loss $2,300.00.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 7-1-20 police responded to the 300 block of Parklawn Ct for a vandalism report.  Sometime between 6-25-20 at 1600 hrs and 7-1-20 at 1600 hrs, actor(s) spray painted a line on the driver’s side of a vehicle from the front quarter panel to the rear quarter panel.  Total estimated value of damage $500.00.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 7-3-20 police responded to the 2200 block of Marietta Ave for a theft from vehicle report.  Between 7-2-20 at 2000 hrs and 7-3-20 at 0800 hrs, actor(s) removed a purse from a parked vehicle.  Total estimated value of loss $150.00.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 7-3-20 police responded to the 100 block of Hidden Oak Cir for a vandalism report.  During the overnight hours the resident heard something hitting the house and windows.  Following investigation, three exterior double pane windows and twelve 18-foot lengths of vinyl siding were found to be struck with BB pellets.  Total estimated value of damage $3,500.00.

RETAIL THEFT: On 7-5-20 at 1113 hrs police responded to Royal Farms, 260 Rohrerstown Rd, for a retail theft that just occurred.  An unidentified female entered the store and placed miscellaneous items under her shirt and left without making payment.  Total estimated value of loss $14.50.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 7-5-20 police responded to the 300 block of Colonial Crest Dr for a vandalism report.  Sometime between 7-3-20 at 1900 hrs and 7-5-20 at 0800 hrs, actor(s) set off fireworks leaving behind debris around a parked vehicle and several burn marks in the exterior paint of the vehicle.  Total estimated value of damage is unknown.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 7-5-20 at 0103 hrs police conducted a traffic stop in the 2400 block of Spring Valley Rd.  Following investigation, Kaliya Lusaitis (22) of Landisville was charged Driving Under the Influence and 2 summary traffic violations.
