Police Incidents from 6/13/19 thru 6/24/19

RETAIL THEFT: On 6-13-19 police responded to That Fish Place, 237 Centerville Rd, for a retail theft report.  Two males were observed on video surveillance placing leashes on (2) dogs in their custody and leaving without making payment.  Total estimated value of loss $60.61.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 6-13-19 police responded to the 300 block of Faulkner Dr for a vandalism report.  Sometime between 2200-2330 hours on 6-12-19, actor(s) threw eggs at the residence.  Total estimated damage $100.00.

CORRUPTION OF MINORS:  On 6-14-19 Carlos Acosta (31) of Lancaster was charged with Corruption of Minors (F3), following an investigation that originated in March of 2019.  The offense occurred in the 2800 block of Columbia Ave.

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE:  On 6-14-19 police responded to a reckless driving complaint that occurred in the area of Centerville Rd and Marietta Ave.  Police located Marlin Straub (37) of Lancaster in the Giant Food Store parking lot, 550 Centerville Rd.  Following investigation, Straub was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (M) and Use/Possess Drug Paraphernalia (M). Straub was also found to have a  warrant through the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department and was taken into custody and turned over to a Sheriff.

RETAIL THEFT: On 6-14-19 at 1434 hours police responded to Giant Food Store, 550 Centerville Rd, for a shoplifting that just occurred.  Krista Margarite (35) of West Chester was observed taking (32) cans of Similac Baby Formula, valued at $546.38.  Margarite was charged with Retail Theft (M1).  A warrant was issued for her arrest.

WARRANT SERVICE: On 6-14-19 police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Columbia Ave and Urban Dr.  The driver, Tiffany Picard (28) of Lancaster, was found to have numerous warrants through the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.  Picard was taken into custody and turned over to a Lancaster County Sheriff.

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: On 6-15-19 police responded to McDonald’s, 311 Centerville Rd for an unknown medical problem.  Following investigation, Steven Keyes (25) of Lancaster was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (M) and Public Drunkenness (S).

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 6-16-19 at 0042 hours police were dispatched to a reckless driving complaint.  Manuel Gonzalez-Savinon (32) of Coral Springs, FL was stopped in the 2800 block of Columbia Ave.  Following investigation Gonzalez-Savinon was taken into custody and charged with 2 counts of DUI (M) and several summary traffic offenses. Gonzalez-Savinon was transported to Lancaster County Central Arraignment and committed to Lancaster County Prison, unable to post bail.

ACCESS DEVICE FRAUD: On 6-17-19 Danny Junior Rivera (28) of Manheim was charged with Access Device Fraud (M2) and Theft by Deception (M3), stemming from an incident that occurred 6-2-19 at Tropical Smoothie Café, 572 Centerville Rd.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 6-17-19 police responded to Comfort Inn & Suites, 543 Champ Blvd, for a theft from vehicle complaint.  Sometime between 0420-0730 hours on this date, actor(s) broke the passenger side window of the vehicle and removed an unknown amount of cash.  Total estimated damage $500.00.

RETAIL THEFT: On 6-19-19 Christine Keiffer (38) of Washington Boro was charged with Retail Theft (F3), stemming from an incident at That Fish Place, 237 Centerville Rd, on 6-7-19.  Keiffer was observed on video surveillance taking two electronic ferret collars valued at $69.94.

HARASSMENT: On 6-19-19 William Fesko, Jr (51) of Leola was charged with Harassment (S), stemming from an altercation on 6-4-19 in the 1900 block of State Rd.

RETAIL THEFT: On 6-19-19 Krista Margarite (35) of West Chester was charged with Retail Theft (M1) and Theft by Unlawful Taking (M3), stemming from an incident that occurred 6-12-19 at Giant Food Store, 550 Centerville Rd.  Margarite was observed on video surveillance removing (45) cans of Similac Baby Formula valued at $755.55 and other property belonging to Giant Food Store.  A warrant was issued for her arrest.  Anyone with information on Margarite’s whereabouts is asked to contact East Hempfield Township Police, 717-898-3103.

FORGERY: On 6-19-19 Anthony Eliecer Rodriguez (21) of Lancaster was charged with Forgery (F3) and Theft by Deception (M1), stemming from an incident that occurred on this date at Peoples Bank, 3002 Hempland Rd.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 6-19-19 at 1903 hours, police were dispatched to Royal Farms, 260 Rohrerstown Rd for a potentially intoxicated female.  While in route police observed Aline Barilar (57) of Lancaster driving on Rohrerstown Rd in the area of Noll Dr.  Following investigation, Barilar was charged with DUI (F3), Operate Vehicle W/Out Ignition Interlock (M) and a summary traffic offense.

ACCIDENT INVOLVING DAMAGE TO ATTENDED VEHICLE: On 6-21-19 Ryan Porter (25) of Palmyra was charged with Accident Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle/Property (M3) and several summary traffic violations, stemming from a vehicle crash on RT 283 WB in the area of State Rd on 4-10-19.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS: On 6-22-19 police responded to the Sheetz Mini Market, 3101 Columbia Ave, for a disturbance.  Following investigation, Douglas Givler (52) of Lancaster was cited with Public Drunkenness (S).

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 6-23-19 police spoke with the victim of a vandalism that occurred in the 900 block of Lindsay Ln.  Sometime between 1415-1810 hours on this date, actor(s) made creases in the garage doors causing an estimated $800.00 in damage.

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: On 6-24-19 Heidi Clevenstine (42) of Lititz was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (M) and Use/Possess Drug Paraphernalia (M), stemming from an incident that occurred at CVS, 2110 Spring Valley Rd, on 4-22-19.
