POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 5/13/20 THRU 5/19/20

WARRANT SERVICE: On 5-13-20 police responded to the 1700 block of Ridgeview Ave for a disturbance.  Following investigation, Amber Rapp (34) of Lancaster was found to have a theft warrant through York County.  Rapp was taken into custody and turned over to a York County Constable.

ROBBERY OF MOTOR VEHICLE: On 5-15-20 at 2023 hrs, police responded to Dollar Tree, 165 Rohrerstown Rd for a vehicle theft in progress.  Police located the vehicle within minutes in the 2100 block of Noll Dr and initiated a traffic stop.  Following investigation, Shawn Jared Lewis (28) of Harrisburg was taken into custody, charged with Robbery of Motor Vehicle (F1) and Theft.  Lewis was transported to Lancaster County Prison and committed, unable to post bail. 

RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY: On 5-16-20 at 0008 hrs police conducted a routine business check at Drayer Physical Therapy, 2125 Noll Dr and located a stolen vehicle from Derry Township.  Following investigation, Shawn Jared Lewis (28) of Harrisburg was charged with Receiving Stolen Property (F3).

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 5-17-20 at 0121 hrs police responded to Rohrerstown Rd in the area of Shaaron Dr for a vehicle crash.  Following investigation, Joshua Backes (21) of Lancaster was charged with Driving Under the Influence (M).

POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO DELIVER: On 5-19-20 Andrew Morgan (18) of Columbia was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver (F) and Possession of Marijuana (M), stemming from a suspicious activity complaint involving a vehicle in the 1900 block of Speedwell Rd on 5-9-20. 

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: On 5-19-20 Audrey Martin (18) of Lancaster was charged with Possession of Marijuana (M), stemming from a suspicious activity complaint involving a vehicle in the 1900 block of Speedwell Rd on 5-9-20.

FORGERY: On 5-19-20 Jose J. Beltran (29) of Lancaster was charged with Forgery (F) and Criminal Attempt – Theft by Deception (F). The charges were the result of an investigation which commenced after the victim discovered that someone had attempted to cash check(s) from his business, which he never issued, at Northwest Bank – 2134 Marietta Ave on 4-3-20.
