POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 4/5/21 THRU 4/12/21

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 4-5-21 Joseph Michael Moore (22) of Curtice, OH was charged with Possession of Marijuana (M), stemming from an incident 4-2-21 in the parking lot of Candlewood Suites, 100 South Tree Dr.

THEFT: On 4-6-21 police received a theft report in the 2600 block of Harrisburg Pk.  Sometime between 1500-1700 hrs on 3-31-21, a package was removed from the porch of a residence.  Total estimated value of loss $279.00.

WARRANT SERVICE:  On 4-6-21 the PA State Probation & Parole requested East Hempfield Township Police locate and take Brandon Kohler (36) of Columbia into custody on their warrant.  Kohler was located on Columbia Ave in the area of Centerville Rd.  He was taken into custody and turned over to the State Probation & Parole.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 4-7-21 police were contacted by River Rock Academy, 2124 Ambassador Cir, concerning a student punching a hole in the wall.  Following investigation, a 15-year-old male student of Leola was cited with Criminal Mischief (S).

HARASSMENT: On 4-8-21 Jason Warren Groff (38) of Columbia was cited with Harassment (S), stemming from an incident 3-24-21 at Mercedes Benz of Lancaster, 1684 Rohrerstown Rd.

ARSON: On 4-9-21 police responded to Aarons, 107 Rohrerstown Rd, for an arson not in progress.  Management provided video surveillance of a male lighting a wooden pallet on fire on 4-6-21 at 0130 hrs and leaving the scene on a white bicycle.  The pallet was leaning against the back of the building and the fire extinguished itself.  The amount of damage is unknown at this time.

WARRANT SERVICE: On 4-10-21 the Lancaster City Police Bureau requested East Hempfield Township Police assist them in locating and taking Jordan Pitt (22) of Lancaster into custody on an outstanding arrest warrant.  Pitt was located in the 300 block of Landon Way, taken into custody and turned over to Lancaster City Police Bureau.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 4-10-21 police responded to the 1500 block of Swarr Run Rd for a vandalism report.  Sometime between 0230-1100 hrs on 4-10-21, actor(s) smashed the rear window and driver’s side mirror of a vehicle with a red brick paver.  Total estimated value of loss $650.00.
