POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 2/15/21 THRU 2/21/21

POSSESSION OF SMALL AMOUNT MARIJUANA: On 2-15-21 Junior Ticas (30) of Hyattsville, MD was charged with Possession of Small Amount of Marijuana (M), and (2) summary traffic offenses. The charges were the result of a traffic stop on 2-13-21 on Rohrerstown Rd. in the area of Rt. 30.

SIMPLE ASSAULT: On 2-15-21 police responded to the 2100 block of Swarr Run Rd for a domestic in progress.  Following investigation, Kaisia Lane (18) of Lancaster was charged with Simple Assault (M2), taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.  Lane was remanded unable to post bail.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 2-16-21 police received a theft from vehicle report in the 400 block of Wissler Way.  Sometime between 2-12-21 at 1930 hrs and 2-14-21 at 1600 hrs, actor(s) removed a driver’s license, credit cards and cash from a vehicle.  Total estimated value of loss $30.00.

CHILD PORNOGRAPHY: On 2-19-21 Isaac Flood (28) of Lancaster was charged with Child Pornography (F2), Dissemination Photo/Film of Child Sex Acts (F2), Child Pornography (F3), Dissemination Photo/Film of Child Sex Acts (F3) and two counts of Criminal Use of Communication Facility (F3).  The investigation started in June 2020 upon receipt of a Cybertip by the Lancaster County Computer Crimes Task Force for a location in the 600 block of Steinman Dr.  During the course of the investigation, a second Cybertip was received in December 2020 for the same location. 

STRANGULATION: On 2-19-21 police responded to the 200 block of Colonial Crest Dr for a domestic in progress.  Following investigation, Joseph Christopher Cook (27) of Lancaster was charged with Strangulation (F2) and Simple Assault (M2).  A warrant was issued for his arrest.

ROBBERY: On 2-19-21 police responded to the 2300 block of Harrisburg Pk for an on-going Harassment complaint.  Following investigation, Melvin John Vassor III (30) of Philadelphia was charged with Robbery (F1), 2 counts of Simple Assault (M2), 2 counts of Terroristic Threats (M1), 2 counts of Reckless Endangerment (M2) and 2 counts of Possession of Firearm Prohibited (F1).  A warrant was issued for his arrest.

PFA VIOLATION: On 2-20-21 police responded to the first block of Madge Dr for a domestic in progress.  Following investigation, Daniel Rusch (43) of Lancaster was charged with Contempt for Violation of Order (M) for violating a Protection from Abuse Order.  A warrant was issued for his arrest.
