POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 1/5/21 THRU 1/17/21

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS: On 1-5-21 Dylan Stephens (21) of Landisville was cited with Public Drunkenness (S), stemming from an incident 12-31-20 in the 200 block of E Main St.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 1-5-21 police responded to the 100 block of Springlawn Dr for a theft from vehicle report.  Sometime between 1-4-21 at 2200 hrs and 1-5-21 at 0900 hrs, actor(s) removed blank checks from the vehicle.  Total estimated value of loss $20.00.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On 1-5-21 police responded to the Lowe’s parking lot, 25 Rohrerstown Rd, for a theft from vehicle report.  Sometime between 1000-1500 hrs on this date, actor(s) removed a Pool Cue and loose change from a vehicle.  Total estimated value of loss $1020.00.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 1-5-21 Jose Perez-Gonzales (57) of Lancaster was charged with Driving Under the Influence (M), Reckless Endangerment (M2) and several summary traffic violations, stemming from a traffic stop 1-4-21 on Rohrerstown Rd in the area of Route 30 eastbound.

SIMPLE ASSAULT: On 1-6-21 police responded to the 700 block of Scarsdale Cir for a domestic in progress.  Following investigation, James David Dick (28) of Lancaster was taken into custody, charged with Simple Assault (M2) and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

THEFT: On 1-8-21 police received a theft report that occurred 1-7-21 between 1400-1450 hrs at Giant Food Store, 550 Centerville Rd.  A purse was taken from a shopping cart.  Total estimated value of loss $71.50.

VEHICLE THEFT: On 1-9-21 police responded to the first block of Welsh Dr for a vehicle theft report.  Sometime on 1-7-21, actor(S) removed a 2018 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle from a parking lot.  Total estimated value of loss $10,000.00.

NOISE ORDINANCE VIOLATION: On 1-9-21 at 0433 hrs police responded to the 700 block of Scarsdale Cir for a loud music complaint.  Following investigation, Darlyn Lara-Santana (22) of Lancaster was cited with a summary Noise Ordinance Violation.

THEFT: On 1-11-21 Juan Torres (20) of Lancaster was charged with Theft (F3) and a 17-year-old male of Lancaster was charged with Theft (F3) and Conspiracy-Theft (F3), stemming from an incident 12-22-20 at UPS, 1155 Enterprise Rd. Torres and the juvenile were employees of UPS and were observed by management removing electronic items from boxes in a trailer they were working in.  Total estimated value of loss $3,770.00.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 1-11-21 Connor Mannino-Kitrell (20) of Mount Joy was charged with Possession of Marijuana (M) and a summary traffic violation, stemming from a traffic stop 1-8-21 on Centerville Rd in the area of Nolt Rd.

STRANGULATION: On 1-11-21 police responded to Women’s and Babies Hospital, 690 Good Dr, for a report of an assault.  Following investigation, Jarell Sheriff-Carlisle (29) of Lancaster was charged with Strangulation (F2), Simple Assault (M2), Criminal Mischief (M3) and Harassment (S), stemming from a domestic incident 1-10-21 in the 1500 block of Swarr Run Rd.  Sheriff-Carlisle was located in the 1500 block of Swarr Run Rd this same date, taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 1-11-21 at 2039 hrs, police responded to Spooky Nook Sports, 2915 Spooky NooK Rd, for a single vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer.  Following investigation, Mancel Johnson (45) of Lanham, MD was charged with 2 counts of Driving Under the Influence (M) and several summary traffic violations.  Johnson was taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

THEFT: On 1-12-21 police responded to Days Inn, 2929 Hempland Rd, for a theft report.  The occupants of a room rented from 12-24-20 to 1-12-21 took blankets, sheets, pillows and towels from the hotel and caused damage to multiple items in the room.  Total estimated value of loss $203.50.  Total estimated value of damage $200.00.

WARRANT SERVICE: On 1-13-21 at 0417 hrs, police responded to Days Inn, 2929 Hempland Rd for a disturbance in progress.  Following investigation, James Andre Hernandez (48) of Lancaster was found to have a warrant through the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.  Hernandez was taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

THEFT: On 1-13-21 police received a report of a theft that occurred at Spooky Nook Sports, 2913 Spooky Nook Rd this same date.  Sometime between 1730-2130 hrs, actor(s) removed a CZ 75 Compact 9mm pistol from a sports bag on a basketball court.  Total estimated value of loss $649.00.

THEFT: On 1-13-21 police received a report of a theft that occurred in the 1000 block of Woodlyn Farm Way this same date.  Sometime between 1554-2000 hrs, actor(s) removed a package from a mailbox.  Total estimated value of loss $30.00.
