DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On 11-1-19 the Hempfield School Resource Officer responded to the Lancaster County Career Technology Center bus in the parking lot of Hempfield High School, 200 Stanley Ave, for students fighting. Following investigation, a 16-year old male student of Columbia and a 16-year old male student of Mount Joy were both cited with Disorderly Conduct (S).
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 11-2-19 police responded to Old Rohrerstown Rd for a vandalism report. Two yellow signs on either side of the road stating “Road Narrows” were written on with marker. Total estimated damage $100.00.
COUNTERFEIT BILLS: On 11-2-19 police responded to Sheetz Mini Market, 3101 Columbia Ave, for a counterfeit $100.00 bill. The bill was discovered when the cash drawer was reconciled. Total estimated value of loss $100.00.
PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS: On 11-2-19 police responded to the 600 block of Landisville Rd for an assault. Following investigation, Justin Bixler (25) of Elizabethtown was cited with Public Drunkenness (S) and Harassment (S).
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 11-4-19 Thomas Blaszczyk, Jr (31) of Lancaster was charged with Possession of Marijuana (M), Possession of a Controlled Substance (M) and a summary traffic violation, stemming from a traffic stop on 10-5-19 on Harrisburg Pk in the area of Veranda Way.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 11-4-19 police responded to Penn State Health, 2301 Columbia Ave, for a vandalism complaint. Sometime between 11-1-19 at 1700 hrs and 11-4-19 at 0730 hrs, actor(s) wrote on the business sign. Total estimated damage $20.00.
THEFT: On 11-5-19 police responded to the 1400 block of Banner Dr for a reported theft. On 11-4-19 between 1130-1530 hrs, actor(s) removed multiple clothing items from a residence. Total estimated value of loss $137.00.
FORGERY: On 11-5-19 Danielle Deibler (26) of New Providence was charged with Forgery (F3) and Criminal Attempt of Theft (F3), stemming from an incident at M&T Bank, 1847 Columbia Ave, on 9-23-19. Deibler attempted to cash a stolen check in the amount of $3,200.00.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 11-5-19 officers responded to Harrisburg Pk and Sylvan Rd for a single vehicle crash. Following investigation, Joel Marsden (30) of Mount Joy was charged with 2 counts of DUI (M).
THEFT: On 11-6-19 police were advised of a theft of mail that occurred in the 1100 block of Stony Battery Rd. Sometime between 11-5-19 at 1630 hrs and 11-6-19 at 0645 hrs, actor(s) removed 2 envelopes of out-going mail from a mailbox. Total estimated value of loss $3.10.
THEFT: On 11-7-19 police were advised of a theft that occurred in the 200 block of Colonial Crest Dr. A package was delivered by the United States Postal Service on 10-23-19 at 1345 hrs. The victim never received the package. Total estimated value of loss $59.88.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 11-9-19 police responded to the 1000 block of Nissley Rd for a vandalism complaint. Sometime between 11-7-19 at 1700 hrs and 11-8-19 at 0800 hrs, actor(s) damaged 3 vehicles by scratching letters into the paint, slashing a convertible top and writing on windows with an unknown substance. Total estimated damage $4,010.00.
HARASSMENT: On 11-10-19 police responded to the 3400 block of Columbia Ave for a domestic disturbance. Following investigation, Anthony Salveggi (51) of Lancaster was cited with Harassment (S) and Disorderly Conduct (S). Salveggi was found to have a warrant through Cumberland County, was taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.
THEFT: On 11-11-19 police were advised of a cell phone theft at Burger King, 330 Rohrerstown Rd. An employee left his cell phone on the counter from 1415-1530 hrs on this date and it was taken. Total estimated value of loss $175.00.
THEFT OF SERVICE: On 11-11-19 police responded to the first block of Naomi Ave for a theft of services report. The driver of a cab service reported that she transported a Hispanic female in her teens to this location. The female absconded without making payment. Total estimated value of loss $24.15.
ACCESS DEVICE FRAUD: On 11-12-19 Antonio McCallister, Jr (25) of Silver Spring, MD was charged with 3 counts of Access Device Fraud (F3) and 3 counts of Receiving Stolen Property (M3), stemming from an incident at Hempfield Area Recreation Commission, 950 Church St, on 6-8-19. McCallister was part of a group targeting gyms in the Maryland, Pennsylvania and Washington D.C. areas. The subjects would sign in as visitors, enter the locker room and remove locks with bolt cutters, take credit cards and cash, and replace the lock with a new lock. They would then travel to the nearest CVS to purchase gift cards. The group was apprehended by Haverford Township Police Department in Havertown, PA on 10-6-19.
HARASSMENT: On 11-12-19 Matthew Gerome (44) of Harrisonburg, VA was charged with Harassment (M3), stemming from multiple texts and emails that were sent to an individual in the 2900 block of Shenck Rd.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA: On 11-12-19 Brian Finnegan (22) of Manheim was charged with Possession of Marijuana (M) and 3 counts of Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, stemming from an incident in the 400 block of S Chiques Rd on 10-4-19.
WARRANT SERVICE: On 11-13-19 police responded to the 1200 block of Graystone Rd to serve a warrant through the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department. Lindsey Sutton (27) of East Petersburg, was taken into custody and transported to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Department.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On 11-14-19 Edwin Hernandez, Jr (25) of Lancaster was cited with Disorderly Conduct (S), stemming from an incident at Royal Farms, 260 Rohrerstown Rd, on 10-23-19.
