On 9/22/15 at 2344 hours East Hempfield Township Police were dispatched to 5300 Main St. Easter Petersburg, Burger King, for a report that the building was on fire.  Officers on scene indicated that the Burger King was fully engulfed at that time.  Traffic control was establish while Fire Personnel fought the blaze.  One employee was in the restaurant at the time the fire was detected.  She was able to get out of the building safely.  PSP Fire Marshall was contacted and began a preliminary investigation.  A cause was not immediately determined.    East Hempfield Police were assisted by Manheim Twp. Police Department, East Petersburg Fire Department, Rohrerstown Fire Department, Mountville Fire Department, Southern Manheim Township Fire Department, Neffsville Fire Department, Hempfield Fire Department, Mount Joy Fire Department, West Lancaster Fire Department, Manhiem Fire Depatrment, West Hempfield Fire Department, Eden Fire Department, Lancaster Township Fire Department, Susquehanna Valley EMS, LEMSA and Fire Police.
