At 0854hrs, Thursday, 3/4/21 police and fire personnel were dispatched to Bob Evan's Restaurant - 3000 Hempland Rd. for a report of a vehicle that struck the building. Upon arrival it was determined that there were no injuries. Preliminary investigation indicates that the operator of the vehicle possibly applied the gas pedal instead of their brake pedal by accident. The restaurant is closed for the time being as a result of the incident.
