POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 8/30/22 THRU 9/7/22

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 8-29-22 police received a vandalism report in the 3400 block of Columbia Ave.  Between 2120 hrs and 2145 hrs, actor(s) removed a video camera from a hallway and threw it into the parking lot breaking it into pieces.  Total estimated value of loss $120.00.

THEFT:  On 8/30/22 police responded to the intersection of Junction Rd and S Colebrook Rd for a reported missing stop sign.  The pole was found, but the stop sign was missing.  Total estimated value of loss $110.00.

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: On 8-30-22 Amanda Lee Miller (32) of Manheim was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance (M), stemming from an incident 7-15-22 on the shoulder of Route 283 westbound in the area of Spooky Nook Rd.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 8-31-22 at 2135 hrs, police conducted a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Centerville Rd.  Following investigation, Clay Michael Wright (23) of Lancaster, was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (M) and multiple summary traffic violations.

INVOLUNTARY DEVIATE SEXUAL INTERCOURSE: On 9-1-22 Raymond Lin (21) of Jenkintown, PA was charged with 2 counts of Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse of Person less than 16 yrs age (F1), Unlawful Contact with Minor-Sexual (F1), Statutory Sexual Assault: 4-8 years older (F2) and Corruption of Minors (F3), stemming from an incident 1-6-22 at the Days Inn, 2929 Hempland Rd.  A warrant was issued for his arrest.  At 1535 hrs on 9-1-22 Abington Township Police Department took Lin into custody and turned him over to East Hempfield Township Police Department.  Lin was then transported to Lancaster County Prison.

RETAIL THEFT: On 9-1-22 Wilfredo Jose Torres (56) of Lancaster was charged with Retail Theft (M1), Conspiracy to Commit Retail Theft (M1) and a summary traffic violation, stemming from an incident 6-8-22 at Lowe’s, 25 Rohrerstown Rd.  Torres, along with an accomplice, are alleged to have removed multiple cleaning supplies, boxes of tile and plants from the store without making payment.  Total estimated value of loss $585.96.  A warrant was issued for his arrest.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 9-1-22 police responded to Citizens Bank, 600 Centerville Rd, for a vandalism report.  Sometime between 8-31-22 at 1700 hrs and 9-1-22 at 0830 hrs, actor(s) knocked a mailbox off its post.  Total estimated value of damage $300.00.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 9-2-22 police responded to the 600 block of Rohrerstown Rd for several reports of a vehicle driving recklessly.  Following investigation, Paul C Miller (37) of Lancaster was charged with Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance (M).

THEFT: On 9-6-22 police responded to Root’s Country Market & Auction, 705 Graystone Rd, for a theft that just occurred.  A male took a tip jar from a food stand and ran to his vehicle and left.  Total estimated value of loss $15.00.

FORGERY: On 9-6-22 Mandi L Tyson (35) of Lancaster was charged with Forgery (M1) and Theft by Deception (M1).  Tyson is alleged to have taken a blank check from her former employer, Ville Painters Inc, 2316 Dairy Rd, while she was employed there earlier this year.  Tyson allegedly made the check payable to herself for $1,600.00 and deposited it into her bank account.  A warrant was issued for Tyson’s arrest and she was taken into custody 9-7-22.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 9-7-22 Haywood D Dixon Jr (38) homeless, was charged with Criminal Mischief (M2), stemming from an incident 9-5-22 at the Red Carpet Inn, 2101 Columbia Ave.  Dixon was visiting a guest of Red Carpet Inn and allegedly damaged a mobility scooter and a car radio.  Total estimated value of damage $2,900.00.

BURGLARY: On 9-7-22 police responded to the first block of W Brandt Blvd for a burglary report.  Sometime between 0800 hrs and 1600 hrs on 9-5-22, actor(s) removed a window air conditioner from a barn window to access an electronic repair workshop and took multiple tools, guitars and speakers.  Total estimated value of loss $4,500.00.

ACCESS DEVICE FRAUD: On 9-8-22 Mandi L Tyson (35) of Lancaster was charged with Access Device Fraud (M1) and Access Device Fraud (M2).  Tyson allegedly took a credit card from her former employer, Ville Painters Inc, 2316 Dairy Rd, while she was employed there earlier this year.  Tyson allegedly used the credit card to make several purchases on 8-28-22.  Total estimated value of loss $176.00.
