POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 8/21/24 THRU 8/29/24

RETAIL THEFT: On 8-21-24 police responded to Giant Food Store, 550 Centerville Rd, for a retail theft report.  On 8-18-24 a male entered the store, gathered a cart full of groceries, and went to the self-checkout register where he bagged his items, but never paid for them.  Total estimated value of loss $85.87.  The male was identified as Jordin Demicha Tharrett (19) of Lancaster and he was charged with Retail Theft (S). 

RETAIL THEFT: On 8-22-24 police responded to Sheetz, 1655 Rohrerstown Rd, for two retail theft reports.  On 8-2-24 at approximately 1131 hrs, a female paid for (1) item in the self-checkout, but placed (3) items into a Sheetz bag.  Total estimated value of loss $15.00.  On 8-2-24 at approximately 1304 hrs, a female paid for (1) item in the self-checkout, but placed (3) items into a Sheetz bag.  Estimated total value of loss $21.87.  On 8-28-24 Lucy Stauffer (51) of Lititz was charged with Retail Theft (S) for the second incident on 8-2-24.

SIMPLE ASSAULT-DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: On 8-23-24 at 2047 hrs, police responded to the 1700 block of Swarr Run Rd for a domestic disturbance that just occurred.  Following investigation, Efrain Rodriguez-Colon (43) of Lancaster was charged with (2) counts of Simple Assault-Domestic Violence (M2) and Harassment (S).  A warrant was issued for his arrest.  On 8-24-24 at 0927 hrs, Rodriguez-Colon was located in the 1700 block of Swarr Run Rd, taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

SIMPLE ASSAULT-DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: On 8-24-24 at 2046 hrs, police responded to the 2000 block of Marietta Ave for a domestic in progress.  Following investigation, Sean M Loperena (41) of Lancaster was charged with Simple Assault-Domestic Violence (M2), taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison

CRUELTY TO ANIMALS: On 8-26-24 police responded to the 800 block of Estelle Dr for an abandoned cat.  Following investigation, William Greg Bledsoe (56) of Lancaster was cited with Cruelty to Animals (S) for moving out of his residence and leaving his cat in the residence for more than one week without food and water.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On 8-27-24 at 1903 hrs, police responded to the 2000 block of Columbia Ave for a road rage incident.  Following investigation, Joshua L Pagan (22) of Lancaster was cited with Disorderly Conduct (S).

BURGLARY: On 8-28-24 at 1944 hrs, police responded to the first block of Donnerville Rd for a burglary report. Sometime between 0800 hrs and 1930 hrs, unknown actor(s) made entry through a window and took a Sony PayStation 5 Gaming Console, multiple coins and a laundry basket.  Total estimated value of loss $755.00.
