POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 8/21/23 THRU 8/31/23

POSSESSION OF FIREARM PROHIBITED: On 8-21-22 Justin McMullen (39) of Lancaster was charged with (9) counts of Possession of Firearm Prohibited (F2).  Pennsylvania State Parole received a tip that parolee McMullen was in possession of firearms and searched his residence in the 2800 block of Columbia Ave on 8-15-23.  McMullen, a convicted felon not to possess firearms, was found to have (9) firearms in his residence.  McMullen is currently incarcerated at SCI Smithfield.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 8-21-23 Suzanne Michelle Groff (31) of Landisville was charged with (2) counts of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (M) and several summary traffic violations, stemming from a traffic stop 8-18-23 in the 3200 block of Harrisburg Pk.

ACCIDENT INVOLVING DAMAGE TO ATTENDED VEHICLE: On 8-21-23 Raymond Medina Aponte (23) of Lebanon was charged with Accident Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle (M3) and several summary traffic violations, stemming from a two-vehicle accident 7-22-23 on S Colebrook Rd at the intersection of State Rd.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 8-21-23 Bryant Mejia (32) of Lancaster was charged with Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance (M) and a summary traffic violation, stemming from a traffic stop on Centerville Rd in the area of Columbia Ave. 

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: On 8/21/23 Timothy Ryan Seipp (35) of York was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (M) and Use/Possess Drug Paraphernalia (M), stemming from an incident 11-4-22 on Embassy Dr in the area of Rohrerstown Rd.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: On 8-22-23 at 0409 hrs, police responded to Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center, 2160 State Rd, for an assault that just occurred.  Following investigation, Gregory M Desolis (39) of Lancaster was charged with Aggravated Assault (F2), Simple Assault (M2) and Harassment (S).  A warrant was issued for his arrest.

THEFT: On 8-22-23 police responded to the Giant Food Store, 550 Centerville Rd, for a theft report.  Sometime between 1230 hrs and 1300 hrs, actor(s) removed an iPhone 10 from a customer’s shopping cart.  Total estimated value of loss $225.00.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS: On 8-23-23 at 1312 hrs, police responded to Sheetz, 3101 Columbia Ave, for an intoxicated male.  Following investigation, Michael E Aralleno (54) of Lancaster was cited with Public Drunkenness (S).

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS: On 8-24-23 police responded to the 100 block of Broad St for a disturbance.  Following investigation, Stephen Birchfield Jr (45) of Landisville was cited with Public Drunkenness (S).

RESISTING ARREST: On 8-24-23 Ashley M Dellet (40) of Columbia was charged with Resisting Arrest (M2) and Disorderly Conduct, stemming from an incident 8-15-23 at Sheetz, 3101 Columbia Ave.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On 8-25-23 two 14-year-old males and one 12-year-old male all of Landisville were cited with Disorderly Conduct (S), stemming from an incident 8-10-23 at the Hempfield High School Gymnasium parking lot, 200 Stanley Ave.

PROTECTION FROM ABUSE VIOLATION: On 8-27-23 at 1325 hrs, police received a report of a Protection from Abuse Violation in progress on Harrisburg Pk in the area of Good Dr.  Following investigation, Justin Stan Lewis (25) of Mountville was charged with Arrest for Violation of Order (M).  Lewis was located in the first block of N Donnerville Rd, taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

BURGLARY: On 8-28-23 Dan Quoc Tran (46) of Lancaster was charged with Burglary (F2) and Criminal Mischief (S) stemming from an incident 3-7-23 at Prestige Gymnastics, 3549 Hempland Rd.  Tran allegedly forcibly entered the building from the side entrance and kicked in two locked doors. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

BURGLARY: On 8-27-23 police responded to the Living Hope Community Church, 2823 Columbia Ave, for a burglary report.  Sometime between 8-25-23 at 0800 hrs and 8-27-23 at 0949 hrs, actor(s) attempted to enter the building through the double doors of the gymnasium and also a single door to the building.  All three doors were damaged by the tools used to try to pry them open.  Total estimated value of damage $3,000.00.

HARASSMENT: On 8-27-23 police responded to the 2900 block of Terry Ln for a domestic in progress.  Following investigation, Alondra Martinez DeJesus (27) of Lancaster was cited with Harassment (S).

HARASSMENT: On 8-27-23 a 15-year-old male student of Lancaster was cited with Harassment (S), stemming from an incident at Hempfield High School, 200 Stanley Ave, on 8-25-23.

THEFT: On 8-28-23 police received a theft report that occurred 8-27-23 between 1830 hrs and 2000 hrs at Fuddruckers, 100 Rohrerstown Rd.  The victim left her Chanel purse and keys at the restaurant and upon return the restaurant was unable to locate them.  Total estimated value of loss $2,852.00.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 8-28-23 police received a vandalism report that occurred between 8-27-23 at 0100 hrs and 8-28-23 at 1100 hrs at Days Inn, 2929 Hempland Rd.  A vehicle was keyed in the parking lot.  Total estimated value of loss $300.00.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 8-29-23 at 2329 hrs, police responded to Sheetz, 2149 State Rd, for a disturbance. While on scene, police found the gate to the construction site was not secure.  Further investigation indicated that the glass of (16) windows was broken with bricks and a fire extinguisher was used to break the glass of a door.  Total estimated value of damage $8,750.00.

PA DOG LAW VIOLATION: On 8-29-23 Virginia Marie Sigman (81) of Landisville was cited with a Dog Law violation(S), stemming from an incident 8-24-23 in the 100 block of Cooper Ave where Sigman’s dog was found running loose.

BURGLARY: On 8-30-23 at 2316 hrs, police responded to Steinmetz Coins and Currency, 350 Centerville Rd, for a glass break alarm.  Upon arrival, police located a broken outer window pane of a double paned window, but the building remained secure.  Video surveillance captured an individual fleeing the scene.

THEFT: On 8-30-23 police received a theft report that occurred at Community Aid, 31 Rohrerstown Rd. The victim left their Apple iPhone 13 in the restroom sometime between 1905 hrs and 1925 hrs.  Upon the victim’s return to retrieve the phone, it was no longer there and plotted at another location.  Total estimated value of loss $1,000.00.
