POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 7/18/25 THRU 7/31/25

RETAIL THEFT: On 7-17-25 police responded to Lowe’s, 25 Rohrerstown Rd, for two retail theft reports.  An unidentified female on two separate occasions, 7/10/25 and 7/15/25, placed (2) Hisense 3000 dehumidifiers into a cart and exited the store without making payment.  Total estimated value of loss $816.00.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 7-21-25 Tej Bahadur Budathoki (39) of Landisville was charged with (2) counts of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (M) and Public Drunkenness (S), stemming from an incident 7-1-25 at 1354 hrs in the 2000 block of Spring Valley Rd.  Budathoki was found in a parking lot unconscious in his running vehicle with a fire hydrant marker wedged under the vehicle’s front axle.

ACCIDENT INVOLVING DAMAGE TO ATTENDED VEHICLE:  On 7-21-25 Zinfira Kibaro Muradova was charged with Accident Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle (M) and two summary traffic violations, stemming from a two-vehicle accident 7-18-25 on Rohrerstown Rd in the area of Route 30 East.

RETAIL THEFT: On 7-23-25 Charish Nevaeh Coy (20) of Lancaster was charged with Retail Theft (S), stemming from an incident 5-2-25 at Sheetz, 3101 Columbia Ave.  Coy allegedly selected multiple items, scanned the items at a self-checkout location, but never made payment.  Total estimated value of loss $50.42.

DOG LAW VIOLATION: On 7-23-25 police responded to the 2900 blk of Dell Rd for a dog running at large.  Following investigation, Francisco Velez-Morales (66) of Lancaster was cited with Confinement of Dogs (S) and Application for License (S).

FORGERY: On 7-27-25 at 2217 hrs, police responded to Sheetz, 1655 Rohrerstown Rd, for a fraud that just occurred.  Three males, in their late teens to early twenties, passed three counterfeit $100 dollar bills to pay for minimal purchases.  Total estimated value of loss $300.00.

RETAIL THEFT: On 7-28-25 at 1158 hrs, police responded to Lowe’s, 25 Rohrerstown Rd, for a retail theft that just occurred.  A female filled a shopping cart with power tools, potted plants and miscellaneous other items then exited through an employee gate without making payment.  An Asset Protection Agent confronted the female and she fled leaving the merchandise behind.  Total estimated value of loss $1,296.28.

INDECENT EXPOSURE: On 7-28-25 Kevin Lee Ritchey (58) of Mount Joy was charged with Indecent Exposure (M2) and Open Lewdness (M3), stemming from an incident 7-11-25 at Tropical Tan, 2831 Columbia Ave. 

ACCESS DEVICE FRAUD: On 7-29-25 Joseph Cameron (56) of Bronx, NY was charged with Access Device Fraud (F3), Identity Theft (M1), Theft by Deception (M1) and Retail Theft (S), stemming from an incident 7-10-25 at Verizon Wireless, 100 Rohrerstown Rd.  Cameron allegedly attempted to purchase a new cell phone using another individual’s account and provided a fraudulent Driver’s License as proof of identity.  Cameron also allegedly stole a Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker valued at $129.00.  A warrant was issued for his arrest.

THEFT-FAILURE TO MAKE REQUIRED DISPOSITION OF FUNDS: On 7-29-25 Sevin Allan Eckert (24) of Reading was charged with Theft by Failure to Make Required Disposition of Funds (M2).  Eckert, a former employee of Mavis Discount Tire, 1655 Columbia Ave, on 7-23-25 allegedly collected cash from a customer and then cancelled out the invoice in the computer.  Eckert then allegedly placed the cash in his pocket.  Total estimated value of loss $119.99.
