POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 4/25/23 THRU 5/2/23

THEFT: On 4-25-23 police responded to Intricate Precision Manufacturing, 2970 Old Tree Dr, for a theft report.  The street sign with the street names of Old Tree Drive and Plane Tree Drive became disconnected from the post and was laying on the ground.  On 4-23-23 at 1142 hrs, video surveillance captured a female pick up the sign, place it in the trunk of a car and drive away.  Total estimated value of loss $100.00.

HARASSMENT: On 4-25-23 Jessica A Maccarone (25) of Beachwood, NJ was cited with Harassment (S), stemming from an incident 4-20-23 at the Grocery Outlet Bargain Market, 2108 Spring Valley Rd.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS: On 4-25-23 Makayla Lynn Grothe (24) of York was cited with Public Drunkenness (S), stemming from an incident 4-23-23 at 0114 hrs in the 2300 block of Columbia Ave.

HARASSMENT: On 4-25-23 police responded to River Rock Academy, 2124 Ambassador Cir, for a disturbance involving a student and two staff members.  Following investigation, a 16-year-old male student of Columbia was cited twice with Harassment (S).  He spit on one teacher and punched another teacher.

TERRORISTIC THREATS: On 4-26-23 police responded to River Rock Academy, 2124 Ambassador Cir, for a disturbance in progress.  Following investigation, a 14-year-old male student of Ephrata was charged with Terroristic Threats (M1).

THEFT: On 4-26-23 Rolando Pena (45) of Bronx, NY, Luis Ernesto Pena (30) of Mount Vernon, NY and Abraham Gonzalez (29) of Raleigh, NC were each charged with Theft (F3), stemming from an incident 6-26-22 at Sunoco, 2141 Marietta Ave.  The three males are alleged to have entered the Sunoco between 1800 hrs and 1900 hrs and two of the males positioned themselves at the skill gaming machines while the third male used an object to open the locked lower cash drawer and remove the cash from within.  Total estimated value of loss $3,916.00.  Warrants were issued for their arrests.

RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY: On 4-29-23 at 1427 hrs, police were on patrol in the area of the Sheetz, 3101 Columbia Ave., when a vehicle registration plate that was reported as stolen was located on a vehicle that was in the possession of John Kurt Lueckert (64) of York. Lueckert was subsequently charged with Receiving Stolen Property (M3).

RETAIL THEFT: On 5-1-23 police responded to the Giant Food Store, 550 Centerville Rd, for a retail theft not in progress. Four individuals (3 females and 1 male) entered the store on 4-29-23 between 1706 hrs and 1723 hrs.  The male served as a look-out while the females rapidly filled a reusable bag with Neutrogena, Loreal, Olay and Cerave skincare products.  Total estimated value of loss $2,298.18.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 5-1-23 police responded to Subway, 2102 Spring Valley Rd, for a vandalism report.  Sometime between 0810 hrs and 0950 hrs, actor(s) poured motor oil on the windows and pavement at the store entrance.  Total estimated value of damage is unknown at this time.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On 5-2-23 a 16-year-old female student of Landisville and a 15-year-old female student of Landisville both received citations for Disorderly Conduct (S), stemming from an incident 4-25-23 at Hempfield High School, 200 Stanley Ave.
