CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 3-28-24 police responded to Ingredients Plus, 3901 Nolt Rd, for a vandalism report. Sometime between 3-26-24 at 1426 hrs, and 3-28-24 at 1319 hrs, actor(s) cracked widows on (2) locomotives and spray painted inside both. Total estimated value of damage $1,400.00.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS: On 3-28-24 at 1438 hrs, police responded to the 3400 block of Columbia Ave for a trespass in progress. Upon arrival, police found Kurt U Bergey (57) of Lancaster on scene. There is a “No Trespass Letter” prohibiting him from being at the property as he was charged (3) times since 9/5/23 with Defiant Trespass with the last charge 11-21-23 resulting in a Bench Warrant. Bergey was taken into custody for the warrant and transported to Lancaster County Prison, where he was remanded unable to post bail. He was charged with Defiant Trespass (M3) for this incident.
BURGLARY: On 3-31-24 at 1918hrs, police responded to B&B Yamaha, 343 Champ Blvd. for a burglar alarm. Upon arrival, officers determined that person(s) had gained entry into the building. Officers observed (2) males on foot in a wooded area behind the business. The males fled upon noticing police. Officers were able to apprehend one of the males, who was identified as Nicholas D. Huff (31) of Elkton, MD. The other male eluded capture. Located in the same wooded area behind the business were (2) KTM dirt bikes, which were determined to have been removed from the showroom of the business. Huff was taken into custody and charged with Burglary (F2); Theft (F3); Possessing Instruments of Crime (M1); and Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Burglary. He was later remanded to Lancaster County Prison after failing to post bond.
RETAIL THEFT: On 3-31-24 at 1428 hrs, police responded to CVS, 2110 Spring Valley Rd, for a retail theft that just occurred. An unidentified female scanned items in the self-check-out and then leaving without making payment. Total estimated value of loss is unknown at this time.
SIMPLE ASSAULT: On 4-1-24 at 0513 hrs, police responded to Richardson Dr in the area of Columbia Ave for a domestic that just occurred. Following investigation, Demetrius Johnson (58) of Columbia was charged with Simple Assault-Domestic Violence (M2). A warrant was issued for his arrest. Johnson was taken into custody 4-4-24 by the Pennsylvania State Police transported to Lancaster County Prison.
HARASSMENT-DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: On 4-1-24 police responded to the 2100 block of Marietta Ave for a domestic in progress. Following investigation, Joel Buch (47) of Lancaster was cited with Harassment-Domestic Violence (S).
HARASSMENT: On 4-2-24 Samuel A Lopez (22) of Columbia was cited with Harassment (S), stemming from incidents 3-27-24 and 3-28-24 in the first block of Madge Dr.
ACCIDENT INVOLVING DAMAGE TO ATTENDED VEHICLE: On 4-4-24 Arianna Maria Bass (19) of Mount Joy was charged with Accident Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle (M) and several summary traffic violations, stemming from a vehicle accident 3-25-24 at the intersection of Rohrerstown Rd and Harrisburg Pk.
POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: On 4-5-24 Shyan Lintner (25) of Millersville was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance (M) and Use/Possess Drug Paraphernalia (M), stemming from an incident 4-2-24 at Kegels Produce, 2851 Old Tree Dr.
RETAIL THEFT: On 4-5-24 Keith Richard Cavna (46) of Lancaster was charged with Retail Theft (F3), stemming from an incident 3-16-24 at Lowes, 25 Rohrerstown Rd. Cavna allegedly entered the store through the lumber entrance, placed a Craftsman 1500-Amp 12-volt Portable Car Battery Jump Starter inside his jacket and walked out of the store without making payment. Total estimated value of loss $139.00. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
