POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 2/28/25 THRU 3/13/25

RETAIL THEFT: On 2-28-25 Joshua Andrew Havens (50) of Harrisburg was charged with Retail Theft (F3), stemming from an incident 2-22-25 at That Fish Place, 237 Centerville Rd.  Havens allegedly loaded a large aquarium and multiple related items onto a flatbed cart, walked past all points of sale and placed the items into his vehicle.  Total estimated value of loss $2,551.87.  A warrant was issued for his arrest.

RETAIL THEFT: On 2-28-25 Santos Thornton (63) of Lancaster was charged with Retail Theft (F3), stemming from an incident 1-23-25 at Stauffer’s of Kissel Hill, 301 Rohrerstown Rd.  Thornton allegedly loaded a cart full of grocery items and placed items inside his jacket then left the store without making payment.  Total estimated value of loss $526.62.  A warrant was issued for his arrest.

RETAIL THEFT: On 3-5-25 at 1436 hrs, police responded to Community Aid, 31 Rohrerstown Rd, for a retail theft that just occurred.  An unidentified male filled a shopping cart with multiple clothing items and left the store without making payment.  Total estimated value of loss $82.92.

FORGERY: On 3-5-25 Shakur Daejuan Smith El (25) of Williamsport was charged with Forgery (F3), stemming from an incident 1-15-25 at Citizens Bank, 600 Centerville Rd.  Smith El allegedly obtained a check that the victim mailed to a business and changed the “Pay to the order of “to his name and cashed the check.  Total estimated value of loss $903.30.  A warrant was issued for his arrest.

RETAIL THEFT: On 3-6-25 a 16-year-old male of Lancaster and a 15-year-old male of Mountville were each charged with Retail Theft (S) and Purchase Alcohol by a Minor (S), stemming from an incident 2-15-25 at Sheetz, 2149 State Rd.  The juveniles allegedly took a 12-pack of Twisted Tea, 6-pack of Hike’s Hard Lemonade and candy.  Total estimated value of loss $65.54. add charges

PA DOG LAW VIOLATION: On 3-9-25 police responded to Amos Herr Park, 1700 Nissley Rd, for a dog running loose.  Following investigation the owner, Blake Harder (24) of Landisville, was located and the dog was returned to him.  Harder was cited with Confinement of Dogs (S).

RETAIL THEFT: On 3-9-25 police responded to Sheetz, 1655 Rohrerstown Rd, for a retail theft that occurred at 0024 hrs.  Two unidentified males entered the beer cave, walked out carrying (1) 12-pack of Modelo beer and (1) 12-pack of Heineken beer.  They left the store without making payment.  Total estimated value of loss $51.48.

RETAIL THEFT: On 3-9-25 at 2250 hrs, police responded to Sheetz, 1655 Rohrerstown Rd, for a retail theft that just occurred.  An employee observed two males enter the beer cave, walk out carrying (2) 12-packs of Modelo beer and (2) 12-packs of Heineken beer.  They left the store without making payment.  Total estimated value of loss $102.96.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: On 3-10-25 a 15-year-old male student of Mountville was cited with Disorderly Conduct, stemming from an incident 3-3-25 at Hempfield High School, 200 Stanley Ave.

OPERATE VEHICLE W/OUT IGNITION INTERLOCK: On 3-11-25 at 2235 hrs, police conducted a traffic stop on Centerville Rd in the area of Chapel Forge Dr.  Following investigation, the driver, Tyler Ray Martin (33) of Lancaster was charged with Operate Vehicle w/out Ignition Interlock (M) and multiple summary traffic violations.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 3-12-25 Justin Patrick Fink (36) of Mount Joy was charged with (3) counts of Driving Under the Influence of Controlled Substance (M) and several summary traffic violations, stemming from a vehicle accident 2-3-25 at 1030 hrs on Route 30 East in the area of Centerville Rd.
