POLICE INCIDENTS FROM 1/30/26 THRU 2/9/26

HARASSMENT: On 1-30-26 a 13-year-old female student of Lancaster was cited with Harassment (S), stemming from an incident 1-28-26 at Landisville Middle School, 340 Mumma Dr.

PROTECTION FROM ABUSE VIOLATION: On 1-31-26 at 1440 hrs, police responded to the first block of Colonial Crest Dr for a trespass in progress.  Following investigation, Tyree Vincent Berry (39) of Lancaster was taken into custody, charged with Arrest for Violation of Order (M) and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

BURGLARY: On 2-1-26 at 1256 hrs, police responded to the 300 block of East Main St for a burglary that occurred between 1045 hrs and 1240 hrs.  Unknown actor(s) rummaged through an apartment and business located in the same building taking cash and a handgun.  Total estimated value of loss $3,680.00.  On 2-2-26 at 0730 hrs, Ephrata Police Department conducted a traffic stop and found the driver, Jonathan Michael Sciarretta (34) of Millersville, to be in possession of items taken during the burglary.  Sciaretta was taken into custody and turned over to East Hempfield Township Police.  Sciaretta was charged with Burglary (F1), Theft (F2), Theft (F3), Burglary (F2), Theft (M2) and Possession of Controlled Substance (M) and transported to Lancaster County Prison.

HARASSMENT: On 2-2-26 Eric D Tangert (35) of Lancaster was cited with Harassment (S), stemming from an incident 1-26-26 in the 2700 block of Harrisburg Pk.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 2-2-26 Israel Torreullas (36) of Lancaster was charged with Criminal Mischief (M2), stemming from an incident 1-12-26 in the 200 block of Elizabeth St.  Torreullas allegedly broke the glass in the front door of a residence.  Total estimated value of damage $500.00.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 2-5-26 at 0104 hrs, police responded to a (2) vehicle accident on Route 283 East involving a vehicle that was traveling westbound in an eastbound lane.  Following investigation, Crystal Lynn Hamsher (30) of York was charged with (2) counts of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (M) and several summary traffic violations.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: On 2-5-26 at 1219 hrs, police responded to River Rock Academy, 2124 Ambassador Cir, for an assault that occurred earlier in the morning.  Following investigation, a 13-year-old male student of Gap was charged with Aggravated Assault (F2).

SIMPLE ASSAULT: On 2-7-26 at 1518 hrs, police responded to Namaste Restaurant, 2101 Columbia Ave, for a fight in progress.  Following investigation, Udaya Gurung (26) of Lancaster was charged with (4) counts of Simple Assault (M2), (2) counts of Possess Instrument of Crime (M2), Disorderly Conduct (M3) and Harassment (S).  Guman Rai (37) of Lancaster was charged with Simple Assault (M2), Disorderly Conduct (M3) and Harassment (S).  Warrants were issued for their arrest.
