DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 1-2-26 Crystal Lynn Mercado (39) of Lancaster was charged with (2) counts of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (M) and several summary traffic violations, stemming from a traffic stop 12-28-25 at 0057 hrs in the 2100 block of Columbia Ave.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 1-2-26 Chelsie M Lowans (37) of Lancaster was charged with (2) counts of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (M) and a summary traffic violation, stemming from a traffic incident 12-28-25 at 2202 hrs on Centerville Rd. The vehicle Lowans was driving became stuck 60 feet down the railroad tracks.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: On 1-3-25 at 1535 hrs, police responded to Noel Dorwart Park, 405 Good Dr, for a criminal mischief report. Sometime between 1459 hrs and 1533 hrs, actor(s) smashed the front driver’s side window of a vehicle. Total estimated value of damage $350.00.
RETAIL THEFT: On 1-3-25 Rubinhio Cherestal (21) of Lancaster was charged with Retail Theft (S), stemming from an incident 12-26-25 at Sheetz, 1655 Rohrerstown Rd. Rubinhio allegedly took (2) Voodoo Ranger 16 oz malt beverages and (1) 6-pack of Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey and exited the store without making payment. Total estimated value of loss $11.58.
SIMPLE ASSAULT-DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: On 1-4-25 at 0402 hrs police received a domestic violence report that occurred in the parking lot of Elimar’s Bar & Grill, 2309 Columbia Ave, between 0200 hrs and 0215 hrs. Following investigation, Harrison E Nixon III (45) of Lancaster was charged with Simple Assault-Domestic Violence (M2). Harrison was located in the 1500 block of Manor Blvd, taken into custody and transported to Lancaster County Prison.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 1-5-26 Timmy Alan Laird (53) of Columbia was charged with (2) counts of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (M) and a summary traffic violation, stemming from a traffic incident 11-18-25 at 1917 hrs in the first block of Rohrerstown Rd where Laird was observed driving through residential yards.
BURGLARY: On 1-6-26 police responded to the 2900 block of Terry Ln for a burglary report. Sometime between 1-2-26 at 0800 hrs and 1-3-26 at 1930 hrs, actor(s) entered the residence and took a Glock 43X semi-automatic firearm. Total estimated value of loss $550.00.
SIMPLE ASSAULT-DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: On 1-7-26 at 1433 hrs, police responded to the first block of Travelo Dr for a domestic in progress. Following investigation, Jaron D Rea (30) of Lancaster was taken into custody, charged with (2) counts of Simple Assault-Domestic Violence (M2) and transported to Lancaster County Prison.
FORGERY: On 1-7-26 at 1940 hrs, police responded to CVS, 2110 Spring Valley Rd, for a forgery report. At 1745 hrs a male purchased a $25.00 Airbnb gift card with a $100.00 counterfeit bill. Total estimated value of loss $100.00.
THEFT BY DECEPTION: On 1-9-26 Brandyn B Kauffman (33) of Lancaster was charged with Theft by Deception (F3), stemming from an investigation that started 11-4-25 at the Blue Collar Restaurant, Bar & Catering, 949 Church St. Kauffman was employed as a manager and allegedly manipulated the safe and computer records to hide a theft of $22,049.50 from 2024-2025.
