DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: On 12-21-24 at 1413 hrs, police responded to the intersection of Columbia Ave and Wellesley Ave for a vehicle accident involving two vehicles. Following investigation, Reynaldo Rosario (41) of Columbia was charged with (2) counts of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (M) and multiple summary traffic violations.
DEFIANT CRIMINAL TREPASS: On 12-23-24 John E Hoffman (64) of Lancaster was charged with Defiant Criminal Trespass (M3), stemming from an incident 12-17-24 at Sheetz, 3101 Columbia Ave.
RETAIL THEFT: On 12-26-24 at 1044 hrs, police responded to Sheetz, 3101 Columbia Ave for a retail theft that occurred one hour earlier. A female allegedly placed a 24 ounce can of Budweiser beer in her pocket and left the store without making payment. The female was identified as Liliannis Garrido-Cuza (30) of Mountville and she was charged with Retail Theft (S). Total estimated value of loss $1.99.
PFA VIOLATION: On 12-27-24 Matthew Willig (51) of Manheim was charged with (3) counts of Arrest for Violation of Order (PFA), stemming from an incident 11/28/24. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
INSTITUTIONAL VANDALISM: On 12-30-24 a 12-year-old female student of Ephrata was charged with Institutional Vandalism (M2), stemming from an incident 12-17-24 at River Rock Academy, 2124 Ambassador Cir.
ENDANGERING WELFARE OF CHILDREN: On 12-30-24 Rebecca Rodriguez (33) of Lancaster was charged with Endangering Welfare of Children (F3) and Leaving Child Unattended in Vehicle (S), stemming from an incident 12-19-24 at That Fish Place, 237 Centerville Rd. Rodriguez allegedly left a 5-year-old child in a running vehicle in the parking lot for approximately 30 minutes while she was in the store. A warrant was issued for her arrest.
ASSAULT ON SPORTS OFFICIAL: On 12-30-24 Jomo Errol Belfor (41) of Mount Vernon, NY was charged with Assault on Sports Official (M1), Harassment (S) and Disorderly Conduct (S), stemming from an incident 12-22-24 at Spooky Nook Sports, 2913 Spooky Nook Rd. Belfor, a youth basketball coach, allegedly disagreed with a call the referee made and reacted by striking the referee. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
