Columbia Borough Police responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Avenue J and South Third Street around 12:45am on 12/10/19.  The caller said she heard 4-5 shots.  Officers located six spent casings in the alley next to the 100 block of South Third Street.  Any residents, especially those in Avenue J and the 100 block of South Third Street, are encouraged to check home surveillance cameras for any footage between 12:30am and 1:00am on 12/10/19 that may show those involved.  Anyone with information should call the Columbia Borough Police at 717-684-7735 or submit a tip below.
