A Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC) will be established to assist individuals, families, and businesses affected by the severe storms on August 20 in Lancaster County. The MARC will provide a one-stop location for those who need help, bringing together multiple organizations and government agencies to offer support and resources.

The MARC will be open on Wednesday, August 26, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Columbia Borough Fire Department, 726 Manor St., Columbia, PA 17512. Various county agencies, offices, and volunteer organizations will be present to provide local services.

Representatives from Pennsylvania state agencies, including the PA Department of Human Services, PA Emergency Management Agency, and PA Insurance Department, will also be available to offer information and assistance.

Resources provided by participating organizations will include:

• Information on checking insurance coverage for damages
• Avoiding fraud or repair scams
• Benefits and disabilities support
• Community support services
• Recovery information and resources

Lancaster County residents and business owners who sustained storm-related damage are encouraged to report the damage to the online damage survey or in person at the MARC on Wednesday. This information is crucial in helping officials verify damage, prioritize recovery resources, document storm impacts, and evaluate potential state and federal disaster assistance.
