The Columbia Borough Police Department would like to introduce our newest Officers, Toby Kohler, and Blaine Schaffner, to the Columbia Community. Both Officers will be sworn in at an upcoming Borough Council meeting.

Toby Kohler. Officer Kohler graduated from Northeastern High School and recently from the Reading Police Academy.

Blaine Schaffner. Officer Schaffner graduated from Warwick High School and recently from the Reading Police Academy.

Lieutenant Holly Arndt and Officer Frank Ember attended graduation on Monday, December 22, 2025. Both Officers begin a 2–3-month field training program this week. Welcome, Blaine and Toby!
