The Columbia Borough Police Department would like to extend a heartfelt congratulations to one of our very own. CBPD’s longest-standing officer, Officer Art White, was recently honored with the prestigious Lancaster County Career Achievement Award by the Lancaster County Chiefs of Police Association.

While Officer White serves with CBPD on a part-time basis, his unwavering dedication to our community has been a constant since the late 1990s. In addition to his decades of service here in Columbia, Officer White serves as a full-time member of the command staff for the Millersville University Police Department, and also serves part-time with the Susquehanna Regional Police Department.

Officer White’s profound commitment, decades of experience, and tireless dedication to the safety of Lancaster County make this recognition well and truly deserved.
