On 10/9/19 at approximately 7:35 am the Columbia Borough Police Department responded to a call in the 900 block of Houston Street for suspicious activity.  Upon arrival the officer spoke with the caller who reported that around 3:50am his dog ran downstairs and started barking aggressively.  He said he didn't think much of it until he woke up in the morning and noticed that the screens in his front first floor windows had been cut.  It appeared that the suspect did not enter the residence.  The cost to repair the screens is approximately $20.00.  Anyone with information regarding this crime should contact the Columbia Borough Police Department at 717-684-7735 or text LANCS to 847411.
