On 8/2/21 at approximately 8:38pm the Columbia Borough police Department was dispatched to the 600 block of Locust Street for a Retail Theft not in progress.  Upon arrival, the Officer spoke with an employee who stated that a light skin male wearing a black hat with a goatee and a black jacket concealed a box of cereal in his jacket then left the store.  The cereal is worth $4.79.  The employee reported that the suspect came with another male who waited outside the store, then both males walked north on 6th Street after the theft.  Anyone with information regarding this theft is asked to contact the Columbia Borough Police Department at 717-684-7735 or by texting LANCS to 847411.
