Regginal D. Welch III (21) of Erie, known as "Dollaz" was convicted after a week long jury trial of all charges, including first-degree murder and second-degree murder for the robbery and fatal shooting of Casey Nadolny (25) on March 23, 2021. Attorney Hillary Hoffman and Attorney Nick Maskrey prosecuted the case on behalf of the Commonwealth. During trial, the Commonwealth presented evidence that Welch set up an ambush robbery with others, which ultimately led to Nadolny's death. Sentencing is scheduled for December 2, 2022 before the Honorable Judge John J. Mead. Welch is facing mandatory sentences of life without the possibility of parole at each of the murder charges for which he was convicted.
