The Pennsylvania Department of Health offers free virtual Narcan trainings to help community members recognize an opioid overdose and respond quickly and safely.

These online sessions cover:

• How and when to use Narcan (naloxone)
• What an opioid overdose looks like
• Practical information about substance use disorder
• Steps you can take to be prepared in an emergency

Narcan is a simple, life-saving medication that can be kept in a purse, backpack, vehicle, or home first-aid kit. Everyone who completes the training will receive a free Narcan kit by mail.

Additional training dates will be shared throughout the year.

Participants can join from a computer or smartphone. Registration is available on the health department website, and login details will be emailed after you sign up.
